O' Angel's In Heaven,
Hear our prayers,
Look after our Grandma,
With love and care.

If all the world were mine to give,
I'd give it, yes, and more,
Just to see again the face I love,
Come smiling through the door.

From our lives you both are gone,
But in our hearts you still live on.

Deep in my heart your memory I keep,
Nobody knows how often I weep.
He suffered much in silence,
His spirit did not bend,
He fought for life with courage,
Until the very end.

Gone is the face we loved so dear,
Silent the voice we long to hear,
Too far away for sight or speech,
But not too far for our thoughts to reach.

Those of you that have a Mother,
Cherish her with care,
For you never know the heartache
till you see the vacant chair.
Always so loving, unselfish and kind,
Few on this earth her equal to find.
One of the best that God could send,
A loving Mother right to the end.

Every day is filled with pain,
Life without you will never be the same.
The pain still raw, Too much to bear,
A life without you is so unfair.
I ache to hold and squeeze you tight,
Kiss you cheek and say everything will be alright.
I know that will never be,
Because you're not here with me.

The hardest things in life to bear,
Is to want your Mum but she's not there.
As long as we live we will always be glad,
For the wonderful Mum we were so lucky to have.

Though your smiles have gone forever,
And your hands we cannot touch,
We shall never lose sweet memories of,
Our Nanny we loved so such.

Your beam of a smile is what we miss,
From each of us a big hug and kiss.

Those we love don't fade away,
They walk beside us every day.

There's a face always with us,
A voice we would love to hear.
A smile we will remember,
We still love and miss you dear.

Every time I sit down,
And spend some time with you,
I promise I won't get upset,
But every time I do.
If you're looking down upon us Nan,
Listen to me please,
Just to know you might be there,
Brings a little ease.
Yesterday I sat,
And thought it's been three years to the day,
When you were taken from us,
Suddenly snatched away.
The panic and the sadness,
No way could this be true,
No not our Nan,
Please God it just cannot be you.
I stood and watched you sleeping,
I cried and stroked your hair,
Another year may have passed,
In our hearts you are always there.
