The following are some common questions regarding the site.  If you have any others please feel free to email us.

What is the Purpose of the Site?
The purpose of this site is to act as a Book of Remembrance for anyone that would like to remember a loved one or a pet.  Simply use the buttons in the left hand margin to navigate to the relevant Book of Remembrance from where you'll be able to access individual entries.

How Can I Make an Entry?
If you would like to add an entry to the site simply email the name of the person/ pet you would like to be remembered along with your message, your details and the Book of Remembrance you would like the entry to appear in to enquiries@myremembrance.com

Can More Than One Person Make an Entry?
Of course.  If you want several people to add their own entries to the site then that isn't a problem.  Simply tell us which order you would like the entries to appear in otherwise we'll just append any new entries to the bottom of the page.

Can I Add a Photograph?
Yes you can.  All we ask is that the photo is in JPEG format and kept to a reasonable physical size.  Simply send the photograph as an attachment with your email and we'll do the rest.

How Much Does it Cost?
There is no charge for submitting an entry.  If you feel you would like to make a donation to help with the running costs of the site simply click on the "Donate" button in the left hand margin or simply contact us for details on how to make a donation.

Is there a Book of Remembrance for Each Day?
Yes.  We're creating a Book of Remembrance that will display the relevant entries for the current day.  You can see this by clicking on the "Today" button in the left hand margin.  If you would like an entry to appear on a specific date please include the details when you submit your entry.

PLEASE NOTE: Entries in the Daily Book of Remembrance are limited to a maximum of 8 lines including the person's name and dates for space reasons whereas entries in the relevant country's book have no limit.

Who Runs the Site?
The site is run by Cliff Hobbs who sadly lost his wife Dawn in December 2003 and their cat Tipsy in February 2004.  The site is designed to be a permanent memorial to their memory and to hopefully bring comfort to others who have been unfortunate enough to lose a loved one or a pet.

Can Anyone in Any Country Make an Entry?
Yes.  Every country will have it's own Book of Remembrance.  Each book will feature an alphabetical list of all entries in the book sorted by surname.

Why Should I Make an Entry?
The decision to make an entry is entirely up to you.  The benefit of the site is it allows you to view the entry at any time day or night.  It also allows others such as friends and family to see and share your memories.
